(Hong Kong, 3 July 2026) - Man Wah Holdings Limited (“Man Wah Holdings” or the “Group”, HKEX stock code: 1999) announced that, in relation to a case of unfair competition in the form of commercial defamation in the 2024 Q3 report of MotoMotion China Corporation (“商丘匠心獨具智能家居股份有限公司” or “MotoMotion”; SZSE Stock Code: 301061), the Shenzhen Intermediate People's Court of Guangdong Province, rendered a final judgment in accordance with the law as follows:
MotoMotion shall publish a correction announcement on CNINFO (“巨潮資訊網”) and remove the commercial defamation content in its 2024 Q3 report;
MotoMotion shall compensate Man Wah Holdings (China) Limited and Man Wah Holdings for economic losses of RMB1, and reimburse reasonable expenses for rights protection incurred during the first and second instance proceedings in the total amount of RMB81,000
Pursuant to the Anti-Unfair Competition Law of the People’s Republic of China (2025 Revision), the Court held that MotoMotion, as an A-share listed company, fabricated and disseminated misleading information in the course of fulfilling its statutory information disclosure obligations on statutory information disclosure platforms, thereby damaging the business reputation of other operators. Such conduct constitutes unfair competition in the form of commercial defamation and shall give rise to corresponding legal liabilities in accordance with the law. The Court further held that the legal consequences arising from the acts of commercial defamation involved in this case shall be borne by MotoMotion, including the liabilities to cease the infringement, eliminate adverse impact, and compensate for losses. As an information disclosure obligor, MotoMotion shall, in accordance with the law, be responsible for the truthfulness, accuracy, and completeness of the contents of its disclosed report, and shall bear corresponding liabilities for any erroneous or misleading statements.

Previously, the court of first instance had, in accordance with the law, ruled that MotoMotion and its General Manager, Mr. Xu Meijun, shall immediately cease their acts of commercial defamation
against Man Wah Holdings and remove the commercial defamation content from the report in question.
